Surf-a-Rama at Doheny Beach

Dean Miller Surf Bedding is going to make a public appearance this weekend at Doheny State Beach's annual Surf-A-Rama festival. Dean Miller is going to show the public some of it's new surf bedding designs, and mingle with all of South County's local surfers.

The event is this Saturday, July 23rd, 2011 from 10am to 4pm. This fun family friendly event is right at the beach, and has vendor booths showing surf memorabilia, an old woody car show, Polynesian dancers, surf bands, a BBQ, and lots of fun surf product for sale. This year features an area where you can blue tarp surf, and get barreled like you were in Fiji. Probably the only barrel you will ever get at Doheny so have fun!

The only thing that sucks about this event is the State Beach charges $15.00 for parking if you don't have a State Park pass, but you could park up the street a bit, and walk which isn't to bad. For more info, check out http://www.dohenystatebeach.org
