We added some great new surf signs to our Hawaiian bedding store today. These new signs are hand drawn and feature Southern California local artist, Wade Koniakowsky. Wade Koniakowsky is known for translating the power and magic of the ocean to canvas, and capturing that surfer feel He has been deeply involved in art and surfing his entire adult life. Wade has served on the board of The American Institute of Graphic Arts, San Diego chapter. His work has been featured in Graphis, Art Direction, Communication Arts, Print and Novum magazines. His work has been recognized by the New York Art Director’s Club, The Houston Art Director’s Club, The Los Angeles Advertising Club and The Clios. He has been a guest lecturer at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and the Artists & Art Directors Club of Sacramento.
Wade resides in San Diego, California with his wife and two daughters. Dean Miller is proud to be carrying his hand drawn surfer signs at our shop.
